ShopSmart is a Shopify app developed and operated by ONX. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when merchants install and use our app within their Shopify store.

When you install ShopSmart, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify store through the Shopify API. Specifically:

  • We collect customer phone numbers from your store.

  • These phone numbers are stored in encrypted form.

2. How We Use This Information

We use the collected customer phone numbers only to assign reward points to customers. These reward points are tied to the customer’s phone number as a unique identifier.

We do not use this data for analytics, advertising, or any other purposes.

3. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not share your store’s or your customers’ information with any third-party service, platform, or partner.

4. Data Security

We take data security seriously. All customer data, including phone numbers, is stored using industry-standard encryption. We also follow best practices for secure storage and access control to prevent unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain customer phone numbers only for as long as they are necessary to operate the reward points feature of the app.

If you uninstall the app or a customer requests deletion of their data, we will permanently delete all associated records.

Our app does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

7. Access by Shopify

Please note that when you use ShopSmart, your data may also be governed by Shopify’s Privacy Policy, since you are using their platform.

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
